A precise position can reveal home, work, routines, and visits to sensitive places.
// live system information, explained
Here’s what your iPhone can sense about you.
SensorDash makes the invisible legible: live sensor values, the permissions protecting them, what each signal can reveal, and the important things iOS does not let apps read.
- No account
- No analytics
- No sensor history
- No data leaves the app
LIVE DISCLOSURE
Not just what exists. What is actually active.
// what an app can learn
Every readable signal gets a value and an explanation.
Three-axis movement can expose gestures, footsteps, vibration, impacts, and how the phone is held.
SensorDash shows relative dBFS only. It never saves, sends, classifies, or transcribes audio.
Apps can see a broad system pressure category — not a fabricated internal temperature.
The hardware can be detected, but SensorDash deliberately does not open a camera capture session.
iOS uses ambient-light sensors internally but does not expose their raw reading to third-party apps.
Find what matters fast. Search by name or what a signal can reveal, browse by category, combine live-access filters, and star sensors to build a private favorites dashboard.
// the honest iOS boundary
SensorDash can prove what SensorDash is reading.
iOS does not provide a public API that lets one app audit which other app is currently using a sensor. The system’s orange microphone dot, green camera dot, Control Center privacy history, and Settings controls remain the system-wide sources of truth.
That limitation is part of the product, not hidden in fine print. The app separates hardware presence, API access, user permission, and active sampling so “available” never masquerades as “being collected.”
// local by design
Your sensor data is the demonstration — not the product.
Readings exist only in memory while the app is active. There is no account, analytics SDK, advertising SDK, sensor database, or upload pipeline.
